Summer Reading is now for kids of all ages (including adults)!

Visit the library to sign up beginning June 1!

SUMMER READING PROGRAM OVERVIEW:

Babies (3 years old and under) - Complete activities to receive prizes. See our activity links below for fun things to do.

Children (ages 3-12) - Pick up your reading log at the front desk. Place a sticker on each day that you read.  Accumulate stickers to claim prizes and enter drawings.

Teens (ages 13-19) - Color a Dinosaur track for every day that you read. Every 5 days completed is an entry into a drawing of your choice. Drawing prizes are on display at the library. Once you have read at least 5 days you can come into the library for a coupon bundle, and a ticket entry for a drawing of your choice. After you have completed 25 days you can receive a free book! All other completed tickets are additional drawing entries. Drawings slips are due by August 8, 2026.

Adults (ages 20 and up) - Receive a drawing entry for every 5 days of reading. After reading 25 days receive a candy bar & a coupon for a free book! After reading 50 days receive a coupon for a free bundtlet from Nothing Bundt Cakes! You can print your reading log or pick one up at the library.

By participating, children will have a chance to win one of several fabulous prizes!   One name (drawn from LTL participants) will be entered into a system-wide drawing.

SCIENCE CAMP with Mr. Bollone is back! Sign up for Science Camp at the front desk or by calling 616-877-4143. Geared for ages 6 to 11.

NEW THIS YEAR Free lunch for kids with the Gather 2 Grow Summer Lunch Program every Monday and Wednesday from 11:30-1:30 pm, June 8 through September 2.  Want to volunteer to help pass out lunch?  Sign up when you are available.
