Baby Time Story Hour - The little ones now have their very own story hour! Like the big kids, they will listen to stories, enjoy finger plays, music and movement, but in the comfort of their caregiver's lap. For babies and toddlers ages 0-24 months. Ask Deb for more details.
"Self Serve" Story Time - This special innovation includes activities such as listening to stories, music, learning sign language, crafts, snacks, and more - all set up as a self-serve smorgasbord for you and your child! Drop by anytime, and stay to read or play. If your child has a food allergy, please bring your own snack.
Family Time Story Hour - geared toward elementary aged kids, but casual enough for the whole family, this group meets on the second and fourth Thursday evenings of the month at 7:00 p.m. This is a time for parents to hang out with their kids and let someone else plan the activities. At Family Time Story Hour we will listen to stories, tell jokes, play games or do crafts, eat snacks and more! If your child has a food allergy, please bring your own snack.
Family Movie Night - fun movies for the whole family, shown on our big screen TV, and complete with free fresh popcorn! Shown the first Thursday of the month at 6:00 p.m.
Family Game Night - we have more games than you could imagine, and they're all waiting to be dusted off and played. Come with the whole family, and match your skill with someone else. Anybody ready for a "Kids/Parents" round? Every third Thursday evening from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m.
Monday Movie Matinee - geared especially toward seniors, but open to all ages. Classics old and new are shown at 2:00 on the third Monday of each month. Snacks, and drinks are provided. Sign up at the desk to join in our Community Potluck at 12:30 before the movie!
Book Discussion Group- Join us, we have a few comfy chairs still available! We meet seasonally on Monday evenings from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Ask Hope for more details.
Knitting Club - For beginning or veteran knitters of any age! Come on by to share projects, ideas, and a great time. See Sharon or Shirley for more details - we'll teach anyone who wants to learn. You're welcome to the club anytime, so please just drop in! The club meets on the 2nd and 4th Mondays of the month from 7:00 to 8:00 p.m.
Adult Winter Reading Program - As always, our program runs from Groundhog Day to Tax Day. That's February 2 to April 15, this year. Come in to the library to sign up for "Paint the Town REaD! ", receive a signup prize, and start reading!
Children's Winter Reading Program - this year for the second time, our winter reading program includes a special program for children. Come in and sign up - we have lots of events planned!
